Chanting is the repetition of a word, a syllable, a phrase or even a song.  The practice of chanting can be either using the voice in a verbalized form or repeated silently to oneself where no one else can hear.  Some chanting practices are even whispered.

The purposes and objectives of chanting are many and it depends on the tradition.

In many traditions the ultimate aim of chanting is to reach enlightenment.  Many of the Eastern traditions such as the Yogic, Vedic and Tantric traditions and also Buddhism and Hinduism have this objective.  Chanting is believed to be a direct path to enlightenment, the highway to enlightenment according to the seekers on this path.

Meanwhile the concept of “mystical love” is the goal of other traditions such as in Sufism and here the mantra acts as the tool.   This mystical love is cultivated through the use of the chanting of mantras.

In many other areas around the globe chanting can also be found, for example the indigenous cultures of Australia  and America, the Aborigines and Native Indians.   The practice of chanting is also found in Islamic, Jewish, Mongolian and Balinese traditions to name a few.

There are similar themes regarding the goal of chanting throughout many traditions.  As mentioned before chanting is a path to reach enlightenment and mystical union.  Inward transformation, transcendence and achieving a union with the divine are other purposes.  Chanting seems to act as some sort of bridge to reach other realms and as a means of connection.

Chanting could be said to be a universal phenomenon given that the practice occurs within so many traditions, cultures and regions of the world.  There seems to be something inherent in the power of sound. In particular the use of the voice to cultivate power through chanting all the traditions seem to be aware of and are harnessing in their individual traditions and paths.

The world is led by 7 Laws. One of these laws is the Law of Attraction (The Law of Perpetual Transmutation). So what is the Law of Attraction? Every little thing is made up of energy, from soil to the birds soaring above us to the nails on your fingertips.  All things you can look at and feel is built of true energy.  If you broke things down from molecules to atoms, eventually energy will be the only element left.

So exactly how does energy relate to the Law of Attraction?  Think about it, there isn’t any substantial substance holding your emotions and values alongside one another. All your emotions and beliefs consist of natural energy. If the world is made up of pure energy, why not use our emotions to create reality?

Our ideas and emotions pull in the negative and positive circumstances that happen to us.  For everything that occurs to you, take responsibility.  You’re probably contemplating, so how did I ask for that stubbed toe I got this morning , ran out of toilet paper and in addition to that, spilled coffee on my favorite shirt? Stubbing your toe created a sequence of incidents of bad feelings that led to a rough beginning to your day. Then again, having positive thoughts can have a chain reaction of positive events in your life.  Beginning every day with the optimistic view in your life can lead to a fabulous morning.  You have to start thinking that you can control how good or bad your day is by keeping track of your beliefs and thoughts.

You will find 3 steps that are key parts to the Law of Attraction.

Ask: It is fundamental that you picture in your head what you want to occur. The universe would not recognize what to provide you unless of course you ask for it.

Answer:
You need to without a doubt believe that whatever you’re needing will manifest itself before you.  Even the tiniest uncertainty or fear is going to prevent you from getting what you ask for. Know that the Universe has answers for what you want.

Receive: Do not assume what you want is just going to be handed to you on a silver platter.  In order to enhance your life, you must try really hard to actively take part of getting what you want. Don’t let chance slip by, when you see an opportunity, don’t hesitate!! Let life happen and be thankful for it as if you’ve already received everything you have always wanted.

I’m glad you’re interested in natural cures for anxiety. As far as I’m concerned, people turn to drugs too quickly to try to get over anxiety problems. Of course medication has its place It’s also my opinion that sometime natural anxiety cures can work as well or better.

Natural cures for anxiety may not have the immediate impact that a drug can so the results are always immediately noticeable. However, over time natural cures can be extremely effective.

Anyone suffering from anxiety should become familiar with the relaxation response. All you have to do is look around to realize that people are continually stressed. There never seems to be any downtime. A body responds to this stress by releasing chemicals and neuro transmitters that make anxiety much worse. The opposite of the stress response is the relaxation response. It’s the antidote to stress.

You’ll find more details about it and instructions on exactly how to do it at The Relaxation Response.

if you have anxiety, definitely stay away from stimulants. Caffeine is the obvious one, but sugars and highly processed foods also cause problems. It may well be that our diets are a major part of the noticeable increase in anxiety and panic problems.

If you normally taken a lot of caffeine you may not even realize how it’s affecting you. Avoid caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea, at least for a little while.

Our thoughts are powerful things, and we do have control over them. Most people don’t exert any control over their thoughts at all. They simply respond to what they notice.

The media is a big culprit here. {They may claim to be informing us but their real goal Despite what they claim, their mission isn’t to keep us informed it} is to provide viewers for their sponsors ads. To do that, they look for the most dramatic stories that they can find anywhere on the globe and they make things as sensationalistic as possible. Avoiding newspapers and television news goes a long ways toward reducing anyone’s anxiety.
