Fitness with aerobics and diet go hand-in-hand. Many people eat a variety of foods daily that they believe will help them to live better. However, many are poor choices.
Facts:
Lunch meats and packaged sausage have been tested and proven to present health risks. These products contain what experts know as nitrates, chemical radicals or compounds that include salt and ester. In addition, the products include nitric acids, with radical NO3. Note that these are preservatives to enable supermarkets to store the products longer than a few days. Plus nitrates are used in fertilizers also; hence the products also have additives.
Some of the products you want to be leery of are Italian sausage, bratwurst, liver sausage, Braunschweiger, turkey and pork sausage, duck sausage.
According to healthy food experts, you may want to avoid bringing home hormone, antibiotic-free, and range fed poultry and meats. Also you will want to avoid pheasant, veal, quail, duck, lamb, chicken, squab, pork, beef. (NOTE: This information is discussed within the parameters of the Schwarzben principles).
Cheese:
Healthy food experts note that the better cheeses that are available for you today are cream, feta, Queso fresco, cottage cheese, goat, Ricotta, Neufchatel, Mozzarella, Gjetost and Muenster.
Facts reported:
Smoked fish most often contains nitrates.
For Protein based food stuffs:
Shellfish and fish are choice.
Saturated vs. unsaturated fats issue:
Initially, according to health studies, if you avoid saturated fats, this can help you live a longer, happier and much healthier life. However newer studies have different results. According to these resources, when the studies were conducted to test the results of saturated fats, the main participants were consuming unhealthy foods, plus smoking cigarettes and heavily drinking and abusing using drugs, and so forth. But newer studies where the participants were living much healthier lifestyles showed that saturated fats can indeed improve cholesterol. In addition, these saturated fats can cause a decrease in your blood pressure, plus reduce heart disease.
Facts reported:
Excessive consumption of carbohydrates can increase your level of insulin. Hence a balanced diet should include roughly 50 to 80 grams per day of carbohydrates. And you also should eat carbohydrates including proteins and fats, plus whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables with starch and legumes as healthier choices than man-made carbohydrates.
Facts reported:
Crackers have too many additives that may also include some hydrogenate fats.
Recommended portions per serving:
Whole Wheat Matzo crackers: one half cracker
Rice Crackers: 1-4 crackers
Rusk toast: 1 ½ ounce of toast
Rice cakes: 2 rice cakes
Note that when you are considering a diet, diets are like fads. Everyone seems to think they have the answer to living healthy through diet, yet only your body knows what it needs. I recommend you take note and pay attention to your body’s demand. If your body agrees with the food it may be the answer to your prayers. On the other hand, if your body disagrees you may want to find a new food to test.
One of the foods on the marketplace low in fat is Chinese food. Most people believe that fat makes you fat, but the fact is our body needs a measure of fat to survive. We need balance. Fats build hormones, cells, and components of the brain. Since, fats do not stimulate release of insulin, thus fats is not what makes you fat. Overall, it is up to you to find the best diet that pleases your body, which can help you live healthier.
